Isabelle Primavera (she/they) recently graduated from Chapman University, majoring in Broadcast Journalism and Documentary at Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, with minors in Psychology and Disability Studies.

While Isabelle focuses on film, they also love research. She co-authored a paper with Dr. Peter Rowe at Johns Hopkins, landing in the Journal of Pediatrics.

Isabelle’s main goal lies in disability advocacy.

They are not afraid to be loud and stand up for others, attempting to make the world a more liveable place for future generations, just like those before her who fought for the ADA.

Isabelle values the importance of advocacy through art and tries to spotlight individuals with disabilities while making their content accessible for all.

Isabelle truly believes that how disability is portrayed in media can sway society’s opinion on the marginlized group.
